Premiere: The Last Slav on Earth

Celebrate with us as yet another of our actors-in-residence projects reaches its pinnacle with an exhilarating premiere! But hold on, this one’s a real brain-teaser – an interdisciplinary masterpiece crafted in a language invented by the artists themselves. “The Last Slav on Earth” made its grand entrance into the world on September 27th in Skopje, Macedonia, marking a special milestone as our very first residency project!

Now, let’s dive into the heart of the matter. “The Last Slav on Earth” isn’t your run-of-the-mill production. It’s a narrative that navigates the complex realms of injustice and heroism, cleverly masked as a clash between gods and mere mortals. This tale delves into the stark realities of inequality, exposing our vulnerability when confronted with the age-old traditions and societal norms. And all of this unfolds under the guise of a light comedy that packs a punch in the end, much like the unexpected blows of reality.

Notably, “The Last Slav on Earth” is a collaborative effort with our esteemed partners at Skoro Teatar from Macedonia. We’re on a mission to infuse our theater with diversity, and this time around, we brought together a stellar cast from Poland, Czech Republic, Macedonia, and Serbia. Each actor adds their unique flavor, contributing to the cultural tapestry of the performance.

For a deeper dive into this one-of-a-kind production, keep your ears to the ground. And if it’s gracing a stage near you, trust us, you won’t want to miss it!
